Born in Cameroon’s South West Region, Nelson’s outlook was profoundly shaped by living through eight years of civil conflict. These experiences strengthened his passion for peacebuilding, civic awareness, social cohesion, and constructive dialogue in divided societies.Recognised for his leadership and humanitarian contributions, Nelson has received several honours, including a Certificate of Appreciation from the Association of Business Executives, an honorary Doctorate in Peace Advocacy and Conflict Management from Dayspring Christian University, and a Decade of Service Award from Haggai International Institute for Advanced Leadership Training.
